Hey Guys,
So I have an opportunity to write a 3 page article for the magazine (ArtisSpectrum) that my art gallery puts out.
It is an interesting opportunity to expose the Burningman thing to an "Art Crowd" that may otherwise have no idea what is going on in Nevada.
So I rather than explain the "structure" of the thing (the dust, light, sounds, nudity, fire, etc.) I was hoping to focus on a more personal aspect of experience....
I'm taking a photojournalistc approach... and interveiwing Burners with the question:
"What is Burningman to you?"
So if you have something to say on this... you might just find yourself quoted in an art magazine...
Dear Chickens, what is Burningman to you....?

Burning Man to me at best is my childhood revisited embellished with community, ritual, and all the stuff that dreams are made of.

Re: An interesting opportunity: "What is Burningman to you?"
Fri, October 26, 2007 - 1:46 PMTo me, burning man is a place where all forms of art and culture are accepted. There are no critics, censors, or social standards. The community is welcoming and accepting and anyone can feel free to let out thier inner child, artist, diva, performer, or whatever without fear.
Just my 2 cents!
