Mark has the plastic sheet for the pond. Amy has the evap tower. Chip may bring his evap fountain.
Who is bringing wood or pipes for the edge of the pond? A pond without an edge is Slip-n-Slide.
Who is bring wood, screen, and fabric for the water filter?
Who wants to build it?
Who is bringing wood, etc for the shower?
Who wants to build it?
You leave in 1 WEEK and no one has talked about these things yet.

Re: Sanitation - Disposal pond, water filter, and shower?
Sun, August 19, 2007 - 7:43 PMYes, I plan to bring the "fountain." I had all the parts lined up last year, but at the last minute, we didn't have room for the plastic swimming pool, so we weren't able to make it happen. Someone offered to bring up the plastic swimming pool in a trailer this year. Was it Amy?
But note that this is extremely experimental, and should not be relied on as our sole source of water treatment. We still need a pond!
It will also depend on 12V electricity, but it sounds as though there will be plenty of that? -

Mon, August 20, 2007 - 2:23 AMAmy has offered to build a shower evap pond this year, and as far as I know was very close to finished when she started prepping for her move to Portland. So I think we could do something with it this coming weekend.
There should be a fair amount of 12V. How much power does your fountain use? -

It's a 12V bilge pump that draws 2A max. I think I've gotta get a float switch for it - looks like I'm running to West Marine today!
(Sorry I didn't see your post sooner!)

Tue, August 21, 2007 - 11:32 PMI have about 3 or 4 long lengths (6 ft?) of PVC pipe I will bring on Tues nite. I'll also try to find some scrap wood somewhere.
