Yes, I got home safely, thank you all for your concern. It was a long ride, with a few interesting stopovers. I spent the night behind the same (only) gas station in Cedarville that I did back in '06. We also spent three hours at a junkyard in the Oregon desert so my ride, Dan, could get a tire hub and reflectors for his '64 Dodge bus. An old man named Jess buttonholed me, and told me how the whole government is full of cheats, and liars, and so forth, and how they owe him a million dollars in backpay for his years in the army. Good stuff, tell you what. I made it home a few minutes to midnight Tuesday night. I tried to send a message the next day, but I used that messed-up group email address, so it never go through. Thanks again to all you chickens, and if I can get all my ducks (chickens) all in a row, I hope to see you next year. That's still a HUGE maybe, but ya never know.
