Um, you must think me very dramatic. A big turn of events and I think I can come! Will know for sure tomorrow. Does anyone have a spare ticket that I can buy? Oh and a ride to the playa!!?!

There is a caveat however, I know I can take one passenger - which, I have one offer pending; I will confirm this as either a yes or no very soon. If I take an additional passenger it could get a little crowded inside my 'truck' to do such - Ford Explorer. I assume you'd be packing fairly light, which would be a saving grace.
