How was Exodus for everyone?
It took Steve and me about 2.5 to 3 hours to get to the higway from Black Rock City. We started a little after 5PM.
(There wasn't much news on Black Rock Radio SUnday evening. No petite beagle stories.
How about today?)
Hope evenyone had a safe journey on the return trip.

Re: Exodus
Mon, September 3, 2007 - 4:31 PMThanks Ropadope!
We had a longer wait to get to the road, 3 hrs and 20 min. We were soooo tired when we got home at 1:30 am but trip was safe and uneventful.
Gave myself and extreme pedicure while Bob drove home. We passed a one hooker town and many taco stands and never once succumbed to tempation... -

Re: Exodus
Mon, September 3, 2007 - 5:16 PMIt was 3 hours to the highway and an extra 30 minutes to Gerlach for me leaving at 12:20 on Sunday. Black Rock Radio was pretty boring, though they did make me feel a little better knowing that it was likely to stay 3 hours for the next 24 hours so it really didnt matter when you left.
I've spent all day just lying around drinking water. I feel so funny today!

Re: Exodus
Mon, September 3, 2007 - 8:34 PMThe one BRC Radio news that I heard was about the person who'd paid someone to fly in and pick her up for a ride to Modesto. Apparently, they don't let people without tickets land at the airport, so the pilot got turned back. the DJ on the radio was looking for a ride for the woman and her gear.
We managed to avoid stopping at any of the towns on 447. We took a detour route to Sparks that went near Popcorn Rock . Almost no traffic at all! I think I'll do that again next year! In Sparks, we had dinner at an In & Out that was packed with Burners.
I spent a few hours out on the driveway spreading out dome coverings and hosing them down.
(There's a playa dust trail along the gutter on my block, now.)
Tired.

Mon, September 3, 2007 - 10:43 PMAbout three and a half hours for me. I read a bunch of a book!
I've been pretty tired all day, starting to come back to life and get things cleaned up. I think my car was dark blue once. -

time passed rather quickly tho, as we spent the entire time chatting and giving each other massages ... which has gotta be one of the best ways to spend Exodus
