Candace will most likely be there (although not guaranteed at this point).
And she will probably have two friends along with her.
Both are experienced campers who can handle any hardship the playa can dish out. Both are cool guys.
She'll tell you more about them later...

2005 - I built the shower in pieces at home and carried them to the playa for final assembly.
2006 - I just brought the lumber and built it in camp. I almost didn't have enough wood. Got very creative with the floorboards.
2006 was easier to pack stuff and took some time to build. But it could also be a fun group activity.

For struts I recommend 2x2's (smaller than 2x4s)
for the base - planks
small triangle plywood sections to reinforce the corners against the WIND
Curtain - something guazelike so the wind passes thru it. who really needs privacy out there.
Those are recommendations. In reality, you build it out of whatever wood you have available... like Bob's garage door(2006).
So far, both showers I built have used less than $6 worth of lumber - it's mostly donated.
I used lumber so it could be burned on Sunday - save on room in the cars rather than packing it back.

We might even have the crusty shower curtain from last year lying dormant in the garage. Eeew!

Bring more wood than you think you need because the wood is also used for building the water strainer and can be used to hold the pond down during high winds.
